On Sayfiew Review the other day a story about the Democratic candidate for governor, Adelaide "Alex" Sink, used the tag "Sink the Democratic Savior?"
My view is that the question mark should be replaced by an exclamation point.
The recent polls showing Republican Bill McCollum ahead are meaningless at this point in time. As I heard someone remark at one of Sink's fundraisers, "Even Republican women are going to vote for her."
Everyone needs to understand that the time has come for a woman to be governor in Florida. Like Obama in 2008, Alex Sink is the right candidate at the right time.
Next year, she will be the Julia Child of Florida politics, inspiring and empowering all women to attain their rightful place in our government.
